The development of high-quality properties is one of the core competence areas of the AGB Group. Since the 1980s ABG has concerned itself primarily with the development of major property projects, office and retail buildings and shopping centres in the big economic metropolitan centres of Germany. Sometimes in cooperation with partner companies and with banks, a volume of investment of more than € 5 billion has been developed, built, managed and sometimes sold.
We concentrate on good and very good, central locations with high development potential. This might be a complete new development or also a complex refurbishment. The result in each case is a unique property, the high quality of which represents a permanent and stable investment in the long term. Realism in thinking, expertise and creativity in action and an absolute claim to quality and solidity form the foundation of our company philosophy.
At present we are carrying out the development of the Ericusspitze, the gateway to HafenCity in Hamburg, together with Robert Vogel KG. The new SPIEGEL publishing house building with around 30,000 m² of gross floor area, and the Ericus-Contor with around 20,000 m² of GEA (gross externally-measured area) are being created on the basis of a spectacular architectural concept design. Construction will start in early 2008; completion is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2011.
