A brief historical outline
In the year 1967 the basis of the ABG Group of Companies was created with the founding of ABG Allgemeine Bauträger GmbH & Co. KG, Munich. In addition to major commercial and housing projects in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Monaco the growth of the business in the 1970s was marked particularly by the conception and implementation of more than 30 closed-end property funds.
Since the 1980s ABG has concerned itself primarily with the development of major property projects, office and retail buildings and shopping centres in the major economic metropolises of Germany. Partly in cooperation with partner companies and with banks, a volume of investment of more than € 4 billion has been developed, built, managed and sometimes sold up till now.
