Buildings, especially the complex major construction projects that form ABG Group’s core business, not only need a strong voice in high-level city and state bodies, they also require an influential representation of interests at a political level. And so it is only right that the ABG Group should be a member of the Zentraler Immobilien Ausschuss e.V., ZIA for short.
ZIA is one of the most influential representative groups in the sector and acts as an association of companies and representative bodies, representing approximately 23 associations in total and thus speaking on behalf of around 37,000 companies in the real estate sector. Due to its size, ZIA not only provides its members with a reliable network, it also represents the interests of the real-estate sector at a national and European level and in the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
DBG is a member of DGNB
Creating lasting values is a principle the ABG Group has been faithful to since it was founded. Thinking and acting along these lines inevitably involves addressing the issue of resources. As a consequence, sustainability is not a distant goal for the company and its subsidiaries but an integral part of everyday business.
For years, all of the ABG Group’s construction projects have been “green” buildings. AGB’s certified buildings emphasise geothermal energy and other modern forms of environmentally friendly, resource-efficient construction. It goes without saying that the company is also a member of DGNB, the German Sustainable Building Council.
